Delete your data

For the ajar Android app (ro.codebldr.ajar). Last updated 13 September 2026.

ajar has no accounts, so there is no account to close. What exists is a phone paired to an intercom, and removing the pairing removes the data.

From the app, in a few seconds

That deletes this phone's pairing token and its push address from the relay. Once its last intercom is gone, nothing about the phone remains: it can no longer be sent a notification, and the household list no longer shows it.

Removing somebody else's phone

Anyone who runs the intercom can take a phone back out from the household list. The removed phone loses access immediately. It cannot open the gate, watch the camera, or be rung, and its stored tokens go with it.

If you cannot get to the app

Lost phone, uninstalled app, or an intercom you no longer have: write to contact at codebldr dot com with the intercom's serial number and say which phone should be removed. Ask another member of the household to confirm from their own phone, since we have no other way to tell that the request is yours.

Requests are handled within 30 days, and normally within a few days.

What is deleted

There is nothing else. No video or audio is ever kept on our side, so there is nothing of that kind to delete. The gate's history, with its pictures and recordings, is on the agent in your own house and is yours to erase.

Uninstalling

Removing the app deletes everything it stored on the phone. It does not by itself remove the phone from the intercom's household list. Do that first, or ask another member to do it for you.
